Southern Animal Rescue Adoptables

Am I the only one that watches Animal Planet and cries often when I watch "Animal Cops" or "Pit Bulls and Paroles?"  I hope I am not the only crazy person who does but with that being said, I just love animals.

When I heard of Atticus' story, it broke my heart.  Who shoots a dog in the head?  Like, really, WHO does that?  Whoever it is deserves jail time because people who do that do not need to be out on the streets.

Animal abuse is terrible but luckily there are good people out there like the folks at Southern Animal Rescue.  They are always taking in dogs that are on their last leg, nurse them back to health and help them find forever homes.  It's admirable work and I am glad I get to help from time to time by taking photos of their dogs.

Also in this session, we have Ruby.  A excited but sweet little bitty pitty.  She would be a great companion for someone with an active lifestyle who is looking for their co-polit.

Atticus' wound is healing nicely!

What a handsome boy!

Look at those ears! They are like antennas!

Whose looking for a fetch partner? Ruby is ready!

Southern Animal Rescue: Adoptables

As far back as I can remember, there are two things that have always been close to my heart.  Cameras and dogs.

I grew up with a pack of dogs and now I have my own little rescue pup who is my constant companion. (Most of you all already know this as I post way to many pictures of her.)  In college I got introduced to the "pit bull" breed dog and fell in love with a dog named Max. He was white and brindle and was the sweetest and most obedient dog I had ever been around.  He displayed what it meant to be a well trained and behaved pet.

To this day, I have always had a soft spot of "bully breeds" as they are often the most sweet, affectionate and obedient dogs I've ever been around.   The breed has unfortunately been mistreated by poor owners and misjudged by people who aren't familiar with the breed.   For any dog, they are what you make them.

I am happy to announce my partnership with Southern Animal Rescue to help these animals get adopted. I will be taking pictures of these amazing and sweet animal in hopes of finding them good, new homes.

Below are two pups, Gallagher and George.  Gallagher was recently updated (only a few hours after posting his new pictures) but George still needs a good forever home.  He was completed under weight when he was rescued (skin and bones) and now he sports a healthy, muscular body.  The moment I met George, all he wanted to do was love on you and lick on you.  This one is a winner for sure.

Enjoy this puppy sweetness:
