Little Moments

Lately I've been trying to search for inspiration with my photography.  After reading several different blogs, it seemed like the best idea would be to take my camera with me no matter where I go.  Another idea is to take at least one picture a day.  Lately I have been taking my camera with me to work and when I run any errands.  If I don't have my camera with me, I like to use my Retro Camera app on my Droid.  So far this experience has been great.  It's helped me to learn about different types of lighting throughout the day and just take in the memories of my every day life.  Here are a few pictures from this past week.

This was a challenge off DPS.com.  The idea was to walk exactly 10 minutes from your house and see what you can get.  I can to the intersection where I walk Kona every week.  I love where I live in Atlanta.
Pretty red leaf. I like the different textures.
And this is my angel on Saturday morning.  The best soft light was coming through the blinds.  This may be one of my favorite pictures of her.

I Heart Faces Challenge: Orange

So this week's challenge is orange and I don't know about everyone else, but orange isn't the most popular color.  I mean fall is pretty in orange and so are the leaves but that's about it.  Also UT is orange and that's a whole other problem.
Anyways, I snapped some pictures this last weekend of my best friend Nikki, her boyfriend Taylor and their adorable dog Paxton.  The best part about this family is that Nikki and Taylor were college athletes and both over 6''0.  Paxton on the other hand is less than 10 lbs.  It's quite the adorable juxtaposition.  I love them all :).

New Born Pictures

I always wondered how photographers got new borns into those adorable poses where they are holding their heads.  I thought maybe the baby was just really strong (well they aren't!).  But Photoshop and the use of a steady had makes it possible.
Check out this post on how to do it!

Rylee- Atlanta Child Photographer

Children are precious and this little girl was no exception.  From her sly smile to her pink tutu, she had it going on!  I'm gonna be in trouble when I have children because I will just take too many pictures! Enjoy!

Engagement Sessions

In the month of October, I shot two amazing couples in Atlanta for their engagement pictures. These shoots were very different but the theme was the same: these people LOVE each other.  The energy of these couples was just magnetic.  I had such a good time laughing and joking with these couples and making the most out of our time.  I got some really great shots and I feel like the love just pops through the picture.
